I guess I should write more often here.


So the talk today will be about university!
I am quite enjoying my first weeks, I did my schedule by myself, and so I have school early only 2 days per week, and my mondays are off (for a future job). This schedule is what's helping me cope with procrastination.

The classes in themselves are good, all my teachers are nice, and I have no problem of comprehension.

On my first day, I chatted with the guy sitting next to me in my "oral" class, Brice, and found him in my "image" class on the thursdays, so now we are friends, as well as the other 2 from oral. (and he's into rock (way more than me) so wheee).
On wednesday, I have 3 hours of litterature *sigh* but I made a friend there too, Alexis, and we talk together quite often during the class, so cheers too.
Also on mondays for my option class I made a girl friend who is also a friend of Brice and she's in my image class as well.
Then on thursday, Alexis is supposed to be in french with me but i didn't see him last week. Chiraz, who is my first real friend there, is supposed to be with me for 2 of my classes, but she's not going to all the classes all the time cause she's looking for a job, and is here in uni just to improve her english meanwhile. On thursday evening I find Brice and what's her name in "image"
Finally on fridays, I have 2 classes, both with Chiraz (when she's here), and last week I saw Brice in my second class so this friday i'll sit next to him.

Results: 2 male friends, 3 female friends. Go Ivy go!!


Annnd I think on thurdays, for lunch, I'll often meet up with my 2 friends from highschool whom universities are just nearby, so at least we can see eachother from time to time.



Homework speaking...the big exams are in December, but we also have a kind of essay or big homework to do in each of the subjects and to give back in 3 weeks, so that will be a lot of work.

Today in Litterature I had done well my introduction to a poem, and luckily! because the teacher took them all to note them. Alas she also did a surprise mini test on technical words's definition,and I hadn't researched them so I wrote what I knew/remembered/thought. Like, explaining alliterations and asonnances was alright, a stanza, a couplet, the difference between denotation and conotation (knew conotation but not the first) and "genre" (which i utterly failed xD). it's only 5 points, so next time I'll study the words every week and get as many points as I can on the next mini test.
Friday there is a test in comprehension (place of adverb, adjectif, verbal auxiliaire and their meaning in the sentence) which should be alright.

My most feared subjects are Litterature, British and American history because I never remembers the dates, probably french too and uhmm...my option class because for the moment it's weird.

My brother now owes me 660€

That is quite a lot :o

I gave him 460€ today, because his bank account has been in the red for too long, and the bank said they'd forbid him to be under 0€ on his account "interdit de decouvert". After this, if you are ever in credit of your bank, you end up at the bank of France, were people control how you can spend your money, and you can't take any credit EVER.
So I asked him how much he needed and gave it. My mom can't cause she doesn't have much to finish the month. (well we, haha xD)

Maybe I'll give him 6€ just so he can owe me 666€ :3

After 3 weeks of waiting for the seeds in the fridge to be ready, then 24 hours of immersion in water, yesterday, as of Sunday 8th October, I planted 3 seeds.

If, or when, I am done with working as a teacher around the world, and want to settle down, I have to think of what I'd do then.

If I come back to France, would I want to stay a teacher?

If not, I have 2 projects...except they are like very expensive =P

1- unreal;  create my own Discotheque/dance club, with only electro Rock for music.
2 - more possible, but still need money; create my own library, set in Paris. Specialized in English books (of all kind). would be a little thing, but yeah, Books + English = Love

It's like a real life cluedo, and I'm doing one the 6th and 7th October.
I'm an organisator, like my best friend, and we're doing the party for her sister's birthday, so we'll be two 21 year old girls and the rest will be 13 to 15 year old girls x3

I will be a man called Boris Satarof (zatarof), it's set in the 30ies. So we have to dress like in the 30ies :o I'll bring my hat and my long black coat, I've got a kind of beige waistcoat and a burgundy shirt (for men). now I need to find trousers and shoes and a jacket to go with the trousers...and I wonder about a tie :O

I am also one of the first killer ^_^ it's gonna be GRAND...if the girls play along, of course.

But anyway with my friend we have already decided to make a real one with our friends, don't know when yet. We would be 6 friends, I talked about it to my brother and he wants in plus one friend so we would be 8, and then the other friends have to bring friends so we can be enough to do a new scenario.

It's happening the saturday evening, night (another murder! omgdz) and sunday morning/noon.

Yesterday I finally told the parents I'm babysitting for I won't be able to continue with them. It was very hard to do that, I felt like a big meanie.
It's not their fault the Agency isn't paying me enough, the family pays the agency much more than what I'm paid. I hate capitalism. "Let's make the family give us plenty of money for finding babysitters for them, and employ the babysitters at the minimum wage, this way, all the more money for us!". che.  At least I had a contract, which means next year I'll have to pay the tax rate (for the first time in my life), but as it was low paid and for a short time, I won't have to pay anything. Also the hours I did count for my "retraite" account; you're allowed to touch a pension once you stop working when you're 60+ after a certain amount of hours worked. Well the 16 hours I did will count. It's not much at all, but it's something.

Back to the point, I didn't explain the family the real reason I'm stopping work. My main reason is bad pay. I told the mother it was because I'm getting my school schedule on friday (I do not), and I'll probably have 2 options after this during the school, and it's most probable they will be during the time I should be babysitting, and I CAN'T change the hours of thoss classes. And when I start uni, I don't think I can handle doing 4 days of babysitting plus homework.
They're looking for someone to replace me next monday, as for me, I'm saying goodbye on Friday.
My mother wanted me to stop before, but I can't just leave them like that with only a few days to find someone else. Plus I don't have any other job so it's still money.

In the end, I will touch 16 hours at 7€ = 112€ But the agency will give me the money at the start of next month.

Tomorrow, I'll meet a family to see if we all agree for me to give English Lessons to a 9th grade girl. I'm nervous and excited, it's the first time I give lessons. I'll ask for 15€ per hour, it's free to them because they will pay me with a cheque "service", and so is exonerated from their taxes. To me, it will also count towards my pension account ^_^
Since I have 6 families interested so far, I'll ask them all 15€, and let's say I only do 5 per week.
That will still be 5x15= €70, compared to the 56€ I would touch for 8 hours of the old babysitting.
